Smokestik Company Summary
Everything You Need To Know About Smokestik
Smokestik may have been founded in 2008, but it was in 2010 when the company really came on the scene and became national news. That was the year in which actress Katherine Heigl appeared on a little TV program called The Late Show with David Letterman.
Heigl, who was already a star on TV and in films, became an e-cigarette star by talking about how much electronic cigarettes have helped create a real alternative to cigarettes for her. She then went a step further, actually taking out her e-cig for a few puffs, and handing it over to Letterman so he could take a some puffs himself. It became a signature moment in the history of the electronic cigarette, which was still very new and relatively unknown at that point.
For those in the industry that were watching Letterman that night, a clip that would be replayed over and over again online by e-cigarette fans, it was clear that this was a huge moment and it was all due to Smokestik. The brand is a favorite of Heigl’s and it was their e-cigarette that she raved about on Letterman. This raised the profile of all e-cigarette brands, but it especially helped grow Smokestik into a recognizable brand that would later branch out internationally.
Smokestik features a somewhat condensed product line, although they have many starter kits available for consumers to being their e-cigarette journey. Their intro kit is the quickest and cheapest way to get started with Smokestik, coming packed with one battery, a usb charger, and two cartomizers (the industry term for a cartridge with an atomizer built in). In this kit you can choose from tobacco or menthol cartomizers, or one of each. It also comes packaged in a nice hard shell case that resembles a cigarette pack.
As of this writing, Smokestik offers an additional seven kits for consumers to pick from. Most of them are based on the same technology in terms of batteries or cartomizers, but each kit offers different features such as stylized batteries and additional accessories. Smokestik stocks two different cartomizers for their customers to purchase, the regular kind and an XL type, with the latter a long lasting version that also come in flavors other than tobacco and menthol.
Smokestik offers a lifetime warranty on their products, provided you are a regular user, which for them means buying 15 packs of cartomizers every 6 weeks. They do offer a 30-day money-back guarantee as well, so you can try out a kit and see if your taste buds line up with Katherine Heigl and other Smokestik users. On our Smokestik coupon page you’ll find any available discounts that you can take advantage of if you are indeed considering a purchase from their site.
You will also be able to reach their live chat support there, Monday through Fridays, 9am to 5pm EST. Additionally, they have customer service support via phone during the same hours.
While they did build their name on that one Heigl appearance on Letterman, Smokestik has supported their fans on a worldwide basis. They’re available in 50 countries around the world, so there is definitely support for the brand. They were even able to partner up with Katherine Heigl to produce their PitBull model kit, with a percentage of proceeds from the sale of that package going to the Jason Heigl Foundation, Katherine’s charity organization for pets.
Smokestik puts out a stylish product and has been helped a lot with the names associated with it. They have gone international and built up the brand name, but with the intense competition in the e-cigarette industry it will be interesting to see what they will do to keep up with the pace.
